Grandma and Grandpa Gerei came to visit us for two and a half weeks in July and Katelyn was all smiles when they arrived. Fortunately for us, Grandpa was willing to help us out with a few projects around the house. He built a shed for us with very little help from me and a few shelves in the basement for storage. Grandma helped out immensely by taking care of Katelyn on a number of occasions. Bruce was busy with work and I was busy being mom and helping Bruce or dad when I could.

Bruce and I took mom and dad to the Saskatoon Farm just south of Calgary for lunch near the end of their visit.

Bruce challenges his nephew, Joel, to a "chubby bunny" contest. For those of you who are not aware of this game, it involves placing a large marshmallow in your mouth and then saying the words chubby bunny. You continue to place marshmallows in your mouth and stating these words until you can no longer fit any more marshmallows in your mouth. You are not allow to chew or shallow the marshmallows during the challenge. I believe Bruce one this match.

The family enjoys an afternoon bbq after Katelyn's baby dedication. (Notice completed shed in background.)

Bruce and I finish this construction job together while Grandma and Grandpa babysit. After 3 hours of lawn cutting and 3 hours of laying sod, I was one tired mama!

Bruce and I take Katelyn to her first Running Room event. We participated in the 20 minute challenge altogether and although I was only allowed to walk it was still a very enjoyable experience. Of course, Katelyn slept through most of it!

The shed has walls and dad begins to figure out the roof line.
